A scraped ceiling is not a finished ceiling. We prime the bare compound and apply two coats of flat ceiling paint so the surface is uniform with no flashing. If you prefer a light knockdown or orange peel texture instead of smooth, we can spray that on before paint. Most rooms take one to two days. For homes built before the mid 1980s we recommend an asbestos test before removal and can point you to a local lab.
